2024-2025 Flat Rate Tuition: $7450 – The 2024-2025 Tuition will include all field trip fees, elective fees, technology, and school classroom fees. Outside expenses could include Sports fees, PTO dues, or grade-level travel trips.

Tuition Scholarship opportunities:

  1. Active Parishioner Tuition Scholarship of $1250

St. Mary Parish provides tuition assistance to each student in an active parish family. Active parish families must complete an ACTIVE PARISHIONER SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION at enrollment or re-enrollment time. NEW this year: ACTIVE PARISH FAMILIES MUST APPLY FOR THE IP SCHOLARSHIP. Scholarship applications will be awarded after review by the Parish Business Office to confirm active parishioner status. This simple application is completed at enrollment and re-enrollment to verify active parishioner status.

  1. EdChoice Scholarship – Traditional and Expansion Scholarships are available to every student in the State of Ohio. Information on applying can be found below and on the Ohio Department of Ed webpage. See the chart below for the awards by FPL.
  2. Catholic School Tuition Assistance through the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.  Learn more at www.CatholicBestChoice.org.  The deadline to apply is February 25, 2024. 
  3. Other financial assistance can be requested through the Tuition Business Office based on individual circumstances. Please contact tuition@stmaryhp.org.

Returning Students
Re-enrollment Fee: $150 nonrefundable administrative fee.
Returning Student Withdrawal Policy*
Withdrawal between February 1 and April 1: $100 fee will be charged.
Withdrawal between April 1 and May 1: $200 fee will be charged.
Withdrawal May 1 or later: $500 fee will be charged.
Student records will be released upon receipt of the returning student withdrawal payment.

New Students
1. Application Fee: $250 nonrefundable administrative fee.
2. Registration/Deposit fee at the time of enrollment offer: $500 – The Registration/Deposit fee is applied towards tuition and is subject to any refund due based on scholarship awards received.
New Student Withdrawal Policy*
Withdrawal between February 1 and April 1: $200 Refund
Withdrawal between April 1 and May 1: $100 Refund
Withdrawal May 1 or later: No Refund

*When a student is registered or re-registered at SMS, the forward planning begins immediately. Staffing and budget decisions are made based on every registered child being a part of our student community.

  • **ATTENTION RISING 7th & 8th GRADE STUDENTS –The TRADITIONAL Scholarship eligibility requirements have expanded, and you might be eligible to submit a NEW Request for the Traditional EdChoice Scholarship. If you reside in the Cincinnati Public School district, you are subject to Open Enrollment beginning in 7th grade, allowing you to choose a nearby school such as Withrow High School.

All Ohio students are now eligible for a full or reduced EdChoice Scholarship.  

Scholarship amounts are income-based. READ the Ohio Department of Education’s Income Eligibility Federal Poverty Level %’s and award amounts HERE.

The Ohio Department of Education has an application deadline of October 15 to receive full-year funding available for your household. The St. Mary School deadline to receive your EdChoice Request documents is October 1 to provide adequate processing time to meet the October 15 deadline. After the deadline, scholarships will be prorated and awarded according to the date of acceptance. You must continue paying tuition until the State of Ohio confirms your scholarship award.

Families currently participating in EdChoice, who have already submitted renewal paperwork, will not need to submit any additional forms. 

If you applied for Financial Aid through FACTS, you must also apply for the EdChoice Expansion Scholarship.

INCOME VERIFICATION LINK

NOTE: If you are experiencing issues accessing the EdChoice Income Verification System in OH|ID, you may use this link to access the application system. You will need to have an existing OH|ID account for the link to work. 

If you do not have an existing OH|ID, you may create an account and login using the Open My Apps button on the Portal Help page. After you login, under Web Systems, click Application Request. Change the Application to Income Verification in the dropdown box and click submit*. After a moment your screen should reload with access to the Income Verification tile. 

*If the dropdown box under Membership Requested is blank or does not let you move forward, first request Scholarship under Application and then request Income Verification.


Please continue to make your tuition payments. We will adjust your FACTS account once the Ohio Department of Education notifies us of your award. Any account that is paid in full or if any refund is warranted, you will receive that refund once the school has received the funds. When we are notified of your award, the $250 Administrative Fee charged to EdChoice recipients at re-registration time will be adjusted for in FACTS.

TRADITIONAL EDCHOICE SCHOLARSHIP

The Educational Choice Scholarship (EdChoice) Program provides students from designated public schools the opportunity to attend participating private schools. The program also provides low-income students who are entering kindergarten through 12th grade scholarship opportunities.

For New EdChoice Scholarship Requests and Renewal EdChoice Scholarship Requests the following documents are required to be submitted to the private school (St. Mary School): All documents can be found on ODE’s EdChoice Scholarship page linked above as well as linked here.

  • New EdChoice Request Form
  • NEW EdChoice Requests require a copy of the birth certificate.
  • NEW EdChoice Requests for students applying under the sibling eligibility critieria need to secure from the sibling’s high school the sibling’s EdChoice application ID# and provide the sibling’s name and date of birth.  Please submit this information to the school office when submitting your New EdChoice Scholarship Request Form.
  • Renewal EdChoice Request Form
  • NEW and RENEWAL: Proof of Address: Proof of residency is required of all first-year and renewal applicants and must be submitted to the school with the application. Parents/Guardians must document residency by providing the school with a current (less than 3 months old) utility bill. The utility bill MUST SHOW MATCHING SERVICE AND MAILING ADDRESS in the name of the parent/guardian. Post office boxes and Cell Phone Bills have no Service Address and therefore are not accepted. Acceptable Utilities (must show matching service and mailing address: Electric, Gas, Water, Sewer, Cable/Internet. Other Acceptable Documents: Monthly mortgage statement and signed Lease/rental agreement and one (1) other official document with parent’s name and address.   • PLEASE RETURN THE ACCEPTANCE FORM TO ST. MARY SCHOOL AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE IT IN THE POSTAL MAIL.
