International Exchange

St. Mary School has been a participant in the International School to School Experience (ISSE) program since 1989. Past exchange countries in include Australia, Bermuda, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Jamaica, and Mexico.

Eight students selected from the fifth and sixth grades and a teacher-chaperone travel to the partner country. Delegates stay for 3 weeks, living in family homes, attending school, and visiting the region. The partner school sends students here for a similar stay with St. Mary School host students and families. Fifth and sixth grade students are invited to apply for this opportunity at the beginning of the school year.
